Having an outside perspective has been tremendously valuable to us here at TFA while we go through some pretty significant organization-wide changes. The Change Builders® framework has allowed us to check our usual assumptions and ways of doing things in a refreshing and helpful way. What I have found most useful is the common language that we’ve been able to spread amongst our people, so that we can more clearly talk to each other about what we’re experiencing and what we need through change. We now have the license – and in fact the encouragement – to allow feelings and basic human needs to come into the conversation when discussing how to move not just an organization but its people through change, coming out into a “will be” that really reflects our values and our vision for our relationships with each other and with our partners.
