Coach’s Camp™ is an in-depth learning experience for professionals who are interested in developing the Coaching style of management. In our rapidly changing world of work it is clear that this new style of management is more appropriate and effective.
The Camp’s varied format is designed to provide a productive environment for adult learning. The format includes presentations, activities, case studies, role-play, and outdoor, experiential components. You will learn the rationale for Coaching and the organizational characteristics that are necessary to support the Coaching Process. You will then learn and practice the five-step Coaching Process Model that enables effective coaching for performance.
Participants will also define the difference between Coaching and Performance Management and how best to manage performance when necessary. Getting to know the UnCoachables will also help participants determine when the tough decision of termination is required.
Coach’s Camp™ focuses on the one-to-one relationship between a Coach and a performer and then encourages Camp participants to apply these learned concepts immediately to real-life situations. Our goal is to help transfer the skills learned during the Camp back to the actual work environment.
Note: Campers will have some “pre-work” to prepare for the Camp including the DISC style assessment and the Coach’s Profile.
